Well my 8 year old weighs a whopping 49 pounds and that was with her shoes on wacko.gif the GI wasnt very happy about that sigh.gif

He took her off the straterra and Daytrana for ADHD for the summer happyclapper.gif to see if that would help with weight gain/growth and took her off the prevacid and started her on DanActive probiotic drink---we have to do weekly weight checks on her (on sunday) and email him updates on monday---if she hasnt gained any over the next month he will start her on a digestive enzyme

thanks Ginny----he really listened and was very interested to hear Noah's story thumbsup1.gif ghug.gif

My son just went on Focalin for ADHD and he lost 3 pounds the first week. But we started changing some things and it helped out a lot. His bed time is 8 and we try to feed him right before he goes to bed and we keep fatty (but good fat) foods for him to eat. Cheese, milk and then he also eats some fiber cereal to help the digestion with the cheese and milk. The big problem I am noticing is that he is not sleeping very well. Staying asleep isn't the problem, it's initially getting to bed. He doesn't go to bed until about 10 and we lay him down at 8. Poor guy :( Keep up the trying. Every second counts.

Angel was tried on Folcalin at first but it really didnt do much for her. She LOVES cheese and breads but just can't seem to gain (she was born premature at 25 weeks gestation and this has always been a struggle of hers anyway) Angel also had trouble sleeping....they put her on melatonin and shes been such a great sleeper since then : )

thanks so much for your reply and I hope you can get the sleep issue worked out soon (((hugs)))
